Our General Managers Must:
- Have a complete understanding of the overall operations of the corporate food service environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with, and motivating, employees in effort to exceed all customer expectations.
- Possess proven skills to create a productive and educational atmosphere for employees.
- Have the ability to communicate with customers and obtain feedback on ways of customizing the food service operation to the specified needs of each client.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create enticing menus and to ensure the quality of all prepared menu items.
- Monitor the use of the food sanitation program and assure that all state and federal regulations are being enforced and company sanitation procedures are being
followed
- Direct and guide all management staff and lead by example, the activities performed daily.
- Coordinate all food service activities for the account(s) supervised.
- Oversee all hiring, staffing and termination decisions within the account(s).
- Posses a working knowledge of food service budgets, food cost, creation of menus, inventory control and purchasing.
- Assure that all personnel are in compliance w/ client, state, government and corporate regulations.
- Must be certified thru a registered sanitation course.
