Our Catering Directors Must:
- Possess outstanding culinary, preparation and presentation skills.Initiate and book catering business.
- Initiate the creation, implementation and follow through of all catering promotions.
- Oversee hiring and training of staff.
- Have an understanding of the overall operation of the corporate food service environment.
- Perform menu building and costing.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with staff to meet all daily objectives.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through solicitation of continued feedback on ways to improving catering services.
- Have excellent organizational and creativity skills in implementing systems, which will allow the catering department to run efficiently.
- Continually practice the use of sanitation procedures throughout the kitchen and enforce with the staff.
- Be registered in a certified sanitation course
