Our Catering Directors Must:

  • Possess outstanding culinary, preparation and presentation skills.Initiate and book catering business.
  • Initiate the creation, implementation and follow through of all catering promotions.
  • Oversee hiring and training of staff.
  • Have an understanding of the overall operation of the corporate food service environment.
  • Perform menu building and costing.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with staff to meet all daily objectives.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through solicitation of continued feedback on ways to improving catering services.
  • Have excellent organizational and creativity skills in implementing systems, which will allow the catering department to run efficiently.
  • Continually practice the use of sanitation procedures throughout the kitchen and enforce with the staff.
  • Be registered in a certified sanitation course
